Theresa Kenney

Theresa (Benoit) Kenney 86 of Fairhaven passed away on Thursday December 31, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Albert Kenney and daughter of the late Frank C. and Alexandrina (Beauregard) Benoit. Mrs. Kenney was an active communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Fairhaven. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. Survivors include her children Randall Kenney of New Hampshire and Charlene Kenney of Illinois; her sister Yvette Kenney of Kingston, MA; her grandchildren Bryan Kenney, who was her caregiver, Jeffery Hamer, Robert Hamer, Andrea Kenney, Matthew Kenney and Graham Kenney; her great grandchildren Jack Hamer and Libby Hamer; also several nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be said 11am Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Church in Fairhaven. Visitation will be Tuesday morning 9am until 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Veterans National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church 74 Spring St. Fairhaven, MA 02719.
