Tomaz F. daSilva

Tomaz daSilva, 91, of New Bedford, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Born in St. Michael, Portugal, he was the son of the late Jose Fransisco daSilva and the late Maria Deconceicao (Pedro) daSilva and he was the loving husband of Maria (Curvelho) daSilva. 

 Tomaz was a good man who loved his family and shared 7 beautiful children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren with the love of his life Maria who will miss him dearly. 

He is survived by his sons; Thomas daSilva, Aires daSilva, John daSilva and Paul daSilva and his daughter Olga daSilva. He also leaves behind his brother; Jose daSilva, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Tomaz was predeceased by his daughters' Connie daSilva-Billington and Ines daSilva, his brother; Joao daSilva and his two sisters; Ines Resendes and Susanna Monteiro. 

A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 7th from 8-10am with a Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church at 11am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
